Welcome to Fall Creek Healing Center.

We provide heart-centered massage and healing services in a relaxing, safe and comfortable environment. We offer a range of services that support the health and well being of all our clients.

Everyday we are "different" in our bodies based upon our circumstances of that day. All life experiences, both positive and negative, are recorded and stored in our amazing bodies. Therefore, “dis-ease” can be changed and healed by providing the space and focus on the body, mind and spirit; creating “ease” on your life path.

Massage is the practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical (anatomical), functional (physiological), and psychological purposes and goals.

There are many different types of massage. Swedish massage which incorporates long gliding strokes, gentle kneading and stretching, deep tissue which incorporates deeper pressure and connects with the connective tissue of the body, to kinesthetic awareness through movement which incorporates gentle rocking and shaking to increase range of motion and facilitate a deep meditative state of consciousness.

When massage is done with focused intention it is deeply relaxing and offers you the opportunity to release tension and long standing patterns of “dis-ease”.

Reiki is a Japanese word translated as Universal Life Energy. It is a holistic healing system addressing problems and healing at all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It is neither a religion or a belief system, but a part of an emerging field of energetic healing, rediscovered from the wisdom and knowledge of ancient cultures and used in modern times.

Shamanism
see shamanic services

The word shaman originated from a word in Siberia and eventually came to be applied to all medicine men and women of indigenous cultures who's practice includes the flight of the soul. Anthropologist studying indigenous cultures throughout the world, began to find that for different cultures, there were similarities (core techniques) in the way the medicine men and women worked with healing and connecting to the spiritual aspect of people and the world.

Today’s shamanism is the practice of these core techniques, either for healing or to gain spiritual knowledge. It is not a religion. You will find shamanic practitioners of every faith. It is a direct experience of spiritual knowledge.

Shamans work with the spirit (energy, soul, consciousness). They facilitate healing at the soul level. They gain knowledge and insight from working with the energy of nature, animals and ancestors.

In order to communicate with the spirit or consciousness of these things, the shaman will shift his or her own state of awareness. The use of percussion instruments (rattles or drums), plants, water, stones, fire, and singing often accompany shamanic work. These tools help achieve the shift of consciousness necessary for the shaman to receive information being communicated, and direct the healing by whatever means is most effective for the individual receiving the work.
